An artist's view

is what one father and mother had when they hired me for Baby Braxton's session.  Braxton's father is a Graphic Designer as well as a musician so it was a MUST that I put my creative side to the test and capture what it was they had in mind.  

I had SO much fun with this session because I really did get a chance to make ART.  

My heart did break for Mr. Braxton though because at just a few days old he was very uncomfortable.  My delight came when he enjoyed being naked and curled up in a bowl :). 

Mom said it was the first time he had really slept since coming home from the hospital.  Braxton might still be sleeping in a bassinett  full of blankets and no diapers :).  Here are just a few of my favorite's from that session.

Little Princess...

This is just a sneak peek for Mom of her little princess Ansley :).  I say little princess because she completely is.  So precious and well mannered, not to mention a wardrobe that would make royalty blush (my kinda girl)! 

Ansley and I hung out on a VERY bright and challenging day for outdoor photography but we made it work, and well I think it better than worked.  So here ya go Mom....I hope you like :). 

Love this girl!

Love is an understatement actually, she's like a sister to me.  This is my best friend Ashley!  Ash has been on bed rest for the past 8 months, her son Lawson was born at 26 weeks, so we've all been super Nervous this pregnancy.  Ashley wasn't sure she wanted to have maternity pics done because she's been on bedrest and says she fills ucky and has lost all muscle tone.....WHATEVER.  I wish I had her body when I was 8 months pregnant.  So anyway I went and had lunch with Ash at her house one day and just HAPPENED to bring my camera :).  This is what I talked her into.  My favorites are in her leather recliner because really that's where she's spent the last several months, with feet up!   I'm so glad I talked her into this!!!  Hopefully she will be too :).    And on that note I want to say how much I admire her and Eric for all their sacrifices these past few months to bring a new beautiful baby into the world...and hugs to big brother Law, he's going to be a GREAT one!

Until little Allie is here!  I know Mom and Dad are so excited! 

I am too...I love meeting little ones!  I'm also excited to share these images of them with you because I LOVE them. 

These pics just make me happy :).

Happy Easter!!!

It's just a week away so I want to go ahead and wish you all a Happy Easter, and share a few images from each of my Easter sessions (all taken during the week Easter Special).  First is Mr. Wuggles!!!  

Mr. Wuggles was not only the star of most of our Easter sessions but was a true hit with the kids. 

Mr. Wuggles has to be the Sweetest Rabbit in the whole world.  He belongs to my friend Tammy so I kept him for a few days...needless to say Emma wants to keep him FOREVER and instructs me everyday to Call Ms. Tammy and see if Mr. Wuggles can come play, she's so funny! 

Well I'll agree with Emma it was pretty hard to take him home especially after he was house broken better than my dog...no lie, Mr. Wuggles uses a litter box.  So here is Mr. Wuggles and all of his friends from Easter.

Baby C

This is one SWEET little boy!  Meet Mr C, he is a precious little man with such a wonderful disposition.  

He fought sleep the entire session but never cried, he just didn't want to sleep. 

Funny thing is Mom said he slept the ENTIRE day before....go figure :), so I guess he was well rested.  It didn't matter we still got GREAT shots of those baby blues....

and a few fab sleeping shots too ....

patience pays off!  

Abby and Ethan

I'm trying to make it a point to share a few images from each of my latest sessions with you but that's pretty much been impossible because I have a hard time saying "no, I'm booked right now" so I find myself overbooked and always swamped :)...but I'm sooo not complaining...That means somebody likes what I'm doing and I keep meeting FABULOUS PEOPLE!!!!  So for that I say thank you to my lovely clients.  Speaking of lovely clients and FABULOUS people this is Abby and Ethan.   I LOVE these kids and their parents are just AMAZING!  We've become Very close and it's ALWAYS a pleasure to hang out with them and get to caputure these two!  This was Abby's one year session and I've been shooting her since she was just a couple of months old , even though this was Abby's session we couldn't leave sweet brother out. Simply because he is growing soooo fast and looks nothing like he did during Christmas  ( I can't believe how these 2 are changing before my eyes).  So here is Abby and Ethan and a few of my favorite images from their session!!!  THANK YOU AJ& NJ, Much LOVE!

The Girls of Papeetes Salon

These are the girls that do their magic and make me look good, well as good as I can :0!  This is Cathy and Sherry!  I've known these girls forever (I'm sure you can't tell they are related) but we aren't going to talk about how long forever is because it's not nice to ask a girl her age, lol.  Regardless of the fact they are not in High School anymore, these girls look Amazing!  Don't you agree?  These are a few of my favorites from that session!  See you soon girls...I need a trim :).

Sweet Carson

I don't know who was more of a pleasure to be around this sweet little boy Carson or his wonderful parents!  I truely meet some of the most amazing people through photography!  Just look at these images....How could I not LOVE what I do :).   Thank You Mom and Dad....I hope you love your sweet son Carson's proofs.  I feel so blessed that you contacted me!!!  I also feel blessed that I get to spend the next year with this little guy!!!! :)
